Transportation

Bayugan 2 is located along the main road, past San Isidro and before Lapinigan. It generally takes around 30 minutes by car to reach from the town center. You can get to and from Bayugan 2 through tricycles, buses, multicabs, cars, and motorcycles. The area is well-connected and easy to navigate, making it convenient for both locals and tourists to travel around.

The mountain, standing at 600 meters above sea level and covering 1,658 hectares, provides a significant source of potable water for Agusan del Sur. Araw ng Bayugan 2

Bayugan 2 celebrates Araw ng Bayugan 2 every July 29. This vibrant festival showcases the rich culture and traditions of the community. The celebration includes various contests such as songwriting, 'Tiktok Online Battle', and fashionable outfits. It is a day filled with fun, music, dance, and a strong sense of community spirit all organized by the local government.

Bayugan 2 offers a variety of local dishes. Visitors can savor traditional Filipino foods such as adobo, sinigang, and lechon. Sari-sari stores spread around the area also offer snacks. One notable area filled with vendors is situated on the other side of the road to the municipal hall, where shops sell many types of products to satisfy your daily grocery needs.

Bayugan 2 is home to the Manobo tribe, an indigenous group known for their rich cultural heritage. The Manobo people maintain their traditional practices, including weaving, music, and dance.
